On November 15, at 4:00 PM, on the occasion of BOOKCITY Milano 2025, the MUDEC – Museo delle Culture hosts the conference devoted to the volume Straniere in Italia. La ricezione dal secondo dopoguerra delle arti e culture extraeuropee
edited by Alessandra Acocella, Luca Pietro Nicoletti and Caterina Toschi (Quodlibet, 2025). A dialogue exploring how African, Oceanic, and Central–South American arts have been received, interpreted, and narrated in Italy, reshaping our way of viewing the world and challenging cultural categories and conventions.
